NOTE TO FUTURE APPLICANTS: Per recent changes to Public Act 096-0472, a military veteran shall be allowed to exceed the maximum age provision by the number of years served in active military duty, but no more than 10 years of active military duty.

If you would like to test with us in 2010, please verify that you meet the minimum qualifications for one or all of our 5 member departments. The next step is to click on the "Add My Info" button, fill out the form and click the "Send" button once. Your data will added to the database if you meet the minimum qualifications. When the test cycle nears, you will then receive an email notice that there are materials available.

The Southwestern Illinois Joint Fire & Police Recruitment & Testing Consortium was formed in August 1998 with the expressed purpose of providing recruitment and testing services to member communities. In addition, the Consortium serves as a forum for discussion, study, development, and/or implementation of ideas or plans of mutual interest and concern regarding the recruitment, application, and testing of candidates for the member fire and police departments.
